1998

Shortly after its founding, a beautiful building at Wilhelminapark 20 in Utrecht was chosen as headquarters. From this location, Dialogic worked diligently on both very specific issues in the fields of broadband, ICT, new media or education, as well as more generic innovation research and policy advice for governments and businesses.

2003

A few years later, Dialogic had ten employees.

2006

Within eight years, Dialogic outgrew its stately office attire. By the end of 2006, the top two floors of the current building at Hooghiemstraplein were also occupied.

2007

Until this year, Dialogic was recognizable by its orange house style with 'eyes' on the cover. That year, the new house style was introduced, which to this day forms the identifiable basis of our end products: 'the flower' and 'the puzzle piece,' and 'Dialogic blue' make their entrance.

2010

Dialogic celebrates its 12.5-year anniversary in September at the Pastoefabriek in Utrecht.

Dialogic celebrates 15 years, and commemorates this in and around Malaga, Spain. Colleagues test their endurance in a bike ride and visit the Alhambra.

2016

In collaboration with the ROC Midden Nederland, Dialogic opens the ICT Lab Utrecht at its DiaLab. Several student cohorts develop cases and proof of concepts there until the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some participants even join Dialogic afterward. Notably, from one of these projects, a startup emerges in the field of decentralized identity.

In 2016, after six years of service, Dialogic completely redesigns its website. The homepage highlights the issues Dialogic is engaged with. Additionally, there is a 'timeline' feature for following Dialogic via news and Twitter updates.

Sport plays a significant role in many colleagues' lives and Dialogic's outings. A running team from Dialogic participates, for instance, in the 2018 Utrecht Singelloop, where they emerge as the fastest company team in the five-kilometer race. Dialogic also partook in the 2017 edition, where the team narrowly missed the podium in the ten-kilometer race.

2020

In March 2020, the coronavirus mandated Dialogic, like the Netherlands, to work from home. The traditional year-end celebration took place twice in 'hubs' at colleagues' homes. In addition, various activities were organized, including an online cooking workshop with a professional chef. Despite the circumstances, Dialogic continued to grow and ended the year with 30 employees.

A delegation of Dialogic colleagues swim, cycle, and run in the Utrecht Triathlon around the Strijkviertelplas. It is an intensely hot day, particularly challenging for the runners, yet we manage to secure fourth place in the corporate competition.
