On behalf of Cultuurconnect, Dialogic, in collaboration with Dr. Andra Leurdijk of FORALLMEDIA, conducted a feasibility study for a centralized ticketing system for culture and community centres in Flanders. The research involved a literature review and interviews to map existing systems and partnerships nationally and internationally. Subsequently, processes, functionalities, costs, user satisfaction, as well as motives and barriers to collaboration were examined. Key insights from the research:
  • 41% of the surveyed centres share the ticketing system with a municipal service.
  • At least 70% of the centres wish to integrate the ticketing system with other (external) systems, but this is currently not widely implemented. In those cases, the ticketing system is integrated with an accounting system (25%), the UiTPAS (17%), or a scheduling system (13%).
  • 60% of the surveyed centres already sell tickets for other centres.
  • 80% of the surveyed centres plan to sell tickets for other centres in the future.
Based on these insights, we have developed four scenarios for future implementations that Cultuurconnect is currently reviewing. Learn more about the research on the Cultuurconnect website.
