Sven Maltha

As an advisor I focus - alongside my role as director and co-founder of Dialogic - on strategic, institutional economic, and innovation issues with a focus on the sectors of telecommunications, new media, primary healthcare, and ICT education. Digitalisation and its impact on market dynamics and innovation in societal sectors have been a recurring theme in my advisory work over the past twenty-eight years. This work started back then as an industrial economist and researcher at TNO Strategy, Technology, and Policy. Until the end of 2019, I was also a board member/director of CBB (Coöperatie voor Basiszorg in de Buurt) for 5.5 years, actively involved in data provision for primary healthcare. Furthermore, we aim to provide vocational and higher education students in our ICT Lab Utrecht with a work and learning environment whereby we carry out concrete Smart City assignments for regional businesses and professional institutions. Concrete innovation in the field of education and the labour market, so to speak. In my broadband and telecom advisory work, over the past ten years as a pioneer and project manager, I have been responsible for numerous projects to realise broadband in various provinces and municipalities in the Netherlands. I also advise other governmental bodies and companies on business modelling and investment strategies for Next Generation Infrastructure projects (NGA). Previously, I was involved in:

• Board member of the Committee Vondelparc Energy Positive (2009-2013);
• Member of the Expert Panel of the Innovation Stimulus Scheme of the Stimuleringsfonds voor de Pers (2009-2011).
