As a researcher and consultant at Dialogic, I help policymakers to keep this complex world understandable. My work revolves around monitoring, evaluating, and developing policy, especially in the areas of innovation, digitalization, and human capital. A significant part of my focus is on the digitalization transition and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in this process. The ever-advancing digitalization is also changing the way we shape our society and economy. This also requires adaptability from people: we will need to acquire new knowledge and skills and learn to work in a different way. In addition to research in this field, I also contribute to the development of AI applications and am active as a lecturer on AI for various organizations in the public and private sectors. I have a background in innovation sciences from Eindhoven University of Technology. In my younger years, I immersed myself in the digital world; in 2004 and 2005, I was a two-time world champion in professional gaming.
