For the College of the Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA), Dialogic is conducting a study on leased lines. The research also serves as input for an in-depth investigation into the justification of a new market analysis decision. The main question of the research is as follows: To what extent and in which customer segments are dark fiber connections, wireless connections, and various types of leased lines seen as substitutes?
Through interviews and a telephone survey (in cooperation with Heliview), various organizations with more than 100 employees and multiple locations are being questioned about, among other things, the different product segments and to what extent these are seen as substitutes for current connections; what the expected development in demand from customers is (in terms of capacity and other product characteristics) and how important bundled leasing of lines is for customers.
