Dialogic, together with ICLON (Interfaculty Centre for Teacher Training, Educational Research and Professional Development at Leiden University), is conducting a needs assessment on open educational resources among teachers in secondary education.

The study focuses not only on teachers' needs, but on the broader interplay of knowledge, attitude, motivation, perceived barriers, contextual conditions, and behavioural intention. The research requested is descriptive, explanatory, and design-oriented in nature. As a key research step, a survey will be distributed on a large scale to 750 secondary education teachers, differentiated by lower and upper levels and subject clusters (arts, science, humanities). Results will then be further analysed based on the Know-Want-Can behavioural model (based on the Reasoned Action Model by Fishbein and Ajzen (2011)).
