Results and outlook Fryslân Ring

At the request of the province of Friesland, Dialogic Next Step is conducting an impact assessment of the Friesland Ring. The research will result in a brief report that will be used during the signing of cooperation agreements with new entrants to the Friesland Ring. This assignment includes the following questions:

• What public and private investments were required for the Friesland Ring?
• What is the approach of the Cooperative Friesland Ring and how does it compare to other initiatives?
• What achievements has the Friesland Ring made and what are the ambitions (for example, expressed in the number of connections, number of active service providers, number of municipalities approached)? How does this compare to other initiatives?

To achieve the intended result, only desk research will be conducted. This will involve using inputs from the Cooperative Friesland Ring and the province of Friesland, previous Dialogic studies such as "Economic effects of digital marketplaces" and "Trends in broadband demand aggregation models," and public surveys and websites of initiatives.
