Verder proberen we mbo- en hbo-studenten in ons ICT Lab Utrecht een werk- en leeromgeving te bieden, waarmee we concrete Smart City-opdrachten uitvoeren voor het regionale bedrijfsleven en professionele instellingen. Concrete innovatie op het gebied van onderwijs en arbeidsmarkt, zogezegd.\r\n\r\nIn mijn breedband- en telecomadvieswerk ben ik als kwartiermaker en projectmanager de afgelopen tien jaar verantwoordelijk geweest voor een groot aantal projecten ter realisatie van breedband in diverse provincies en gemeenten in Nederland. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de informatie die door verschillende organisaties wordt ontsloten gestandaardiseerd en up-to-date is, heeft het LCSK het HOVI-informatiesysteem ontwikkeld. HOVI bestaat inmiddels vijf jaar en wordt door bijna alle HO-instellingen gebruikt.\r\n\r\nTen behoeve van een op te stellen portfolioplan voor de komende vijf jaar heeft Dialogic de opdracht gekregen om door middel van een evaluatie te onderzoeken of HOVI nog voldoet aan de oorspronkelijke eisen en aan de huidige behoeften van gebruikers en onderwijsinstellingen. Het IAMA is gericht op het inschatten van de impact van het algoritme op grondrechten en biedt daarnaast ruimte voor het aan bod laten komen van andere relevante aandachtspunten rondom de inzet van het algoritme, in een vroegtijdig stadium en op een gestructureerde manier. Daardoor wordt tegengegaan dat al te snel een algoritme wordt ingezet terwijl de consequenties daarvan niet goed zijn bekeken, met de daarbij behorende risico’s, zoals die van onzorgvuldigheid, ineffectiviteit of inbreuk op grondrechten.\r\n\r\nIn opdracht van het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties (BZK) ontwikkelde de Universiteit Utrecht samen met Dialogic een nieuwe versie van het IAMA.
