As a principal consultant at Dialogic, I provide clients with strategic advice in the areas of mobile and fixed telecommunication, telecommunication law, standardization, and intellectual property rights. Over the past years, I have worked for various (semi-)public and private organizations, including the European Commission, the OECD, the US National Academies of Science, ETSI, and UN/ITU. In addition to my work at Dialogic, I hold a position as a professor of 'Standardization and Intellectual Property' at the faculty of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS) at Eindhoven University of Technology. As a researcher, I have published in various journals, including Research Policy, California Management Review, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Technovation, Industrial and Corporate Change, Telecommunications Policy, and many others. As a teacher, my focus is on innovation processes in relation to technological environments, contributing to the master's programme in Innovation Sciences and the bachelor's programme in Sustainable Innovation. One of my key activities is delivering a series of bachelor courses on patents, design rights, and standards (USE Learning Sequence PDS).
