Meet Nienke
Since October 2025, I have been working as a junior researcher/advisor at Dialogic. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Technical Mathematics at TU Eindhoven, followed by a Master's degree in Human Technology Interaction. During my Bachelor's, my interest in data analysis and solving complex problems grew. Due to my fascination with human attitudes and behaviour, I further developed my skills towards human-centered research during my Master's. I gained experience in both qualitative and quantitative research. In my Master's thesis, I focused on persuasive technology, which aims to (positively) influence people's behaviour. The objective was to encourage people to make sustainable food choices in a VR supermarket.
With my diverse background, I also have a wide interest in various research topics related to societal themes, particularly in the areas of climate and education.
In my free time, I enjoy reading a good (fantasy) book, playing board games with friends, and playing squash. Additionally, you can find me participating in a pub quiz at least once a month.
