In 2023, I obtained my Master's degree in Human-Technology Interaction from Eindhoven University of Technology, where I combined knowledge of psychological themes such as perception, cognition, and social intelligence with technological issues. During my studies, I gained extensive experience with both quantitative (surveys and data analysis) and qualitative research methods (interviews, workshops, and validation sessions). I also worked on various UX/UI design projects, focusing on usability and interaction. For my thesis, I collaborated with the Police to develop a VR application aimed at improving spatial orientation skills of officers, while also investigating how cognitive load affects effectiveness. Since 2024, I have been working at Dialogic where I am primarily involved in research at the intersection of digitalisation and education. I find it fascinating to delve into the digitalisation challenges faced by teachers and schools and to outline policy implications. These aspects are reflected in current research projects for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) concerning the functioning of the educational resources market (including the evaluation of WGS) and research into the dependencies on Big Tech in primary education and other OCW sectors, including vocational education (mbo) and higher education (ho). Additionally, I am engaged in evaluation and policy research, mainly for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality (NGF, WBSO, Integral Approaches). This involves monitoring tasks, especially focusing on the education-labour market connection. Outside of work, I am active in various activities: I enjoy running and swimming, and spend a lot of time at the riding school. I also appreciate relaxing on a terrace in Eindhoven with friends, preferably with a craft beer in hand.
