Since 2011, Dialogic has been responsible for the interactive website or dashboard Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (WTI2, STI2 in English variant) commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in collaboration with researchers from the Norwegian research institution NIFU and CWTS in Leiden. In addition to the WTI2 website, today the report "Science, Technology & Innovation Indicators 2012" was sent to the Dutch House of Representatives. This is a biennial publication that, in addition to a summary, provides an in-depth analysis on two selected themes;

- The summary outlines and interprets in broad strokes the state of Dutch Science, Technology and Innovation, using a selection of the data available on the WTI2 website. The report is explicitly not a paper copy of the WTI2 website. It is a clear publication highlighting the main developments in the areas of financing, investments, human capital, collaboration, output and outcome - the six elements of the conceptual model underlying WTI2 are addressed.

- The two thematic papers aim to delve into specific WTI-related topics. These papers utilise additional statistics and indicators which in most cases are not part of the WTI2 website. The theme of internationalisation and specialisation is a "horizontal theme", meaning a theme relevant across the breadth of the WTI2 website. The human capital pipeline theme is a "vertical theme" and delves deeper into a specific aspect.

The report is released in both English and Dutch. The Dutch version includes a condensed version of the thematic publications. Click here for the Dutch publication and here for the English version.
